This new 11,255 s.f. Fire Station No. 145 is a drive through 4 -bay, 8 dorm station and will replace an existing 7,000 sf. station. The station contains a fitness room for fire personnel, an exam/treatment room and a community/training room for public use. The site is located in Desert Hills south of Anthem and it sits on unincorporated land which requires private water consisting of a well, pump house and a 30,000 gallon storage tank, a septic system, on-site propane for heating and cooking. The facility is protected by a fire suppression system utilizing the on-site water storage. It also has on-site diesel fuel storage and dispensing system for the fire Apparatus.

Access to the existing Anthem Trailhead was improved through the Fire Station site. Included in the project scope was to further enhance the trailhead parking lot and add infrastructure for a future drinking fountain and horse water trough. Perlman Architects worked with the Fire District, the community and the Anthem Design Committee to develop an aesthetic that complemented the existing Ranch and Spanish style of the surrounding neighborhoods.
