Queen Creek Fire Station No.2&5 are single-level, 13,353-square foot fire stations consisting of 3-Apparatus Bays, 10-dorms, 4-staff bathrooms, expanded police office area & briefing/ conference room, public lobby/ restroom(s), fire fighter’s offices, fitness room, living spaces, support areas, and decon room. Both stations represents the successful implementation of a Town-Wide station prototype. Each station is designed to be cohesive with the neighboring homes, businesses, and building typology for each specific site. These Stations are a true representation of the evolution of The Town of Queen Creek.

The exterior architectural style being redesigned to a “Farmhouse Contemporary” style which integrates with the Town of Queen Creek Design Guidelines. The proposed “Farmhouse Contemporary” design emphasizes simple massing and detailing; incorporating horizontal and vertical metal siding, decorative shutters, exposed beams/corbels/columns, cast-in-place concrete column bases with predominantly gable standing seam metal roof forms.

The exterior architectural style being redesigned to a “Tuscan” style which integrates with the Town of Queen Creek Design Guidelines. The proposed “Tuscan” design emphasizes simple massing and detailing; incorporating full height stone veneer, stucco, decorative window treatment, exposed beams/corbels/columns, stone veneer concrete column bases with predominantly gable standing seam metal roof forms. This style was chosen for Station No. 5 due to its proximity to single family residential.
